We are in this
TOGETHER.
In these challenging times, Dignity & Power Now understands that funds and resources are difficult, and even more difficult for our directly impacted community members in the state of California who lost their jobs, cannot obtain essential supplies, and those who cannot physically travel for essential needs.
The rapid response fund will be implemented in four phases to respond to the ongoing concerns of directly impacted community members who are experiencing loss, hardship, and health concerns as a result of the coronavirus.
COVID Fund Phases
First Phase: The first phase provides essential needs such as diapers, formula and baby wipes to families with children.
Second Phase: The second phase provides essential needs such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer, face masks, pantry items: almond and peanut butter | jam, bread, laundry detergent and all purpose cleaner.
Third Phase: For this phase, Dignity and Power Now will assess additional essential items based on a community needs assessment and also begin providing financial and emergency rental assistance.
Fourth Phase: For this phase, Dignity and Power Now will focus on increasing attention, education, support, and navigation services to households who are bearing the disproportionate burden of the COVID-19 virus through the mitigation of barriers associated with vaccine receipt. Families will continue to have access to essential items provided through first phase.
